A vintage solid 9ct yellow gold Whale charm, that opens to reveal Jonah inside its mouth. The figure is enamelled in black and shows some wear commensurate with age.
This is a lovely whale charm, different to the more conventional styles you see, this one has nice texture, is a very pleasing shape & even has a waterspout!
It carries the British hallmark for 9ct gold and although we can’t quite make out the date letter, we can definitively state that it dates from pre 1974 and most likely from the mid-1960s.
In excellent condition and comes with a jump ring ready to attach to your bracelet.
