A vintage 9ct gold enamelled charm depicting a row of cancan dancers, articulated to kick out their legs in the classic style – very ‘ooh la la’!
 
The cancan became popular during the 1840s and despite its risqué reputation, it was a physically demanding dance and not for the faint-hearted.
 
This is a delightful charm, the enamel is in good condition for its age. There is a lever on the back of the charm that allows the dancers’ legs to move.
 
Fully hallmarked for London 1972 and comes with a jump ring ready to attach to your bracelet.
